  1. Assign Site Collection Administrators

Site collection administrators are owners of the site collection.

1. In the top-level site of a site collection, click Site Actions, and then click Site

Settings.

2. Click Site Collection Administrators.

3. In the Site Collection Administrators box (username)

4. Click OK.
