Three main comments

  1. SQL service account
used to run SQL server service account
  2. SharePoint Setup user Account used to run SharePoint setup and configuration wizard (admin on SP server and must be granted SQL server log on and member of the following Roles security admin and DB creator ) (s-sql) replaced with spservice(will create all DBs

Must be local admin on both servers

  3. Server farm database access account used to manage and configure the farm and application pool identity and will run the WF timer service must have dB creator and owner it won’t be member of the admins group on server (s-farm)

Note: We will not create account for each application service

Configure specific SQL Server settings before you deploy SharePoint Server 2013

We need to set the maximum degree of parallelism to 1

I need to configure the following

Hostname Alias for a SQL Server Instance

A Hostname Alias SQL Server instance is a simple Hostname that allows clients to connect to an instance of SQL Server without specifying an instance name or a port number

Make sure of the following on firewall

First open the firewall to port to connect to SQL

Note: you must be connected to the internet to run the prerequisites

Then restart

Go to splash file

Install sharepoint server

Create new server Farm

Must enter instance name

Create site collection with team site

If the instance is default don’t write it just the server name

Add everyone to main visitors group
